Marek Lorens studied and worked in Poland and abroad (Warsaw University of Technology Master's degree, Berlin TU Stadtplanung, Universitaet Karsruhe Architecture Germany); joint winner of the first prize in the 2005 competition for the development of Plac Defilad Square in Warsaw.

MAREK LORENS combines conscientiousness with innovative ideas and solutions. Lorens studio makes furniture and objects strongly related to and inspired by architecture. They focus on compensation of space for living and working. They put emphasis on flexibility and personalization as well as fine materials. ( Ambiente Frankfurt 2013) and ,lighting wood. They exhibited at Rho Fiera, Ventura Lambrate , Milan.
